COMPLETELY AUTOMATED CYCLE FOR MONOFILAMENT PRODUCTION
Versatile, reliable, and advantageous: these are only several of the adjectives that can be attributed to the automatic reel-strapping system manufactured by Techno Plastic. Created several years ago, this system continues to represent one of our greatest, self-evident successes.

The reel-strapping machine, which can work autonomously adjacent to any monofilament extrusion line, operates completely in automatic and, therefore, represents the missing link to rendering automated the entire production process.

With this system, complex layout projects, perfectly adaptable to various needs, can be realized. Due to extraordinarily flexible software, the machine, in fact, can very easily adapt to variations in filament diameter, skein size, skein length, and collection speed.

Incredibly multi-functional and versatile, the reel-strapping machine was successfully tested using a filament diameter measuring less than 0.15mm and greater than 2.5mm in thickness. With very thin filaments, the reel allows for movement of the fibers from reel to strapping, with movements studied to almost entirely reduce any misalignment of the fibers, consequently allowing for an excellent layout quality for the confections. Instead, with filaments having a large diameter, the collecting of fibers, or any other product, is still carried out with a latent heat residue, allowing for a definitive stabilization for the skein. Upon the client’s request, another available possibility is the displacement of product units created, which can be easily moved towards the following cutting stations.

The reel-strapping machine is particularly recommended where large volumes of production, or where a high frequency of production cycles, are expected, since this also allows for lower labor costs. In fact, the completely automatic cycle allows for reducing a high level of residual risk for the operator, who does not have to repeatedly carry out every manual procedure cycle on moving parts.

By completely operating automatically, this machine also allows for an increase in line speed, which cannot be easily managed manually, in this case, allowing not only for lower labor costs, but also for an increase in production.

The investment, although important, therefore, has easy returns in the above stated lower labor costs, added to that regarding the purchase of traditional reeling and confectioning machinery, widely justifies the purchase.
