TECHNO PLASTIC INTRODUCES PRODUCTION LINE FOR CONCRETE REINFORCEMENT FIBERS
The Italian Company Techno Plastic is one of the leaders in the world of plastic extrusion lines and ongoing research for innovation.

Techno Plastic aims to consolidate its position not only in its traditional fields but also in new products solutions. For this reason, Techno Plastic has introduced a new manufacturing line of equipment for the production of concrete reinforcement fiber. This modern technology produces the short monofilament plastic fibers that are added to the concrete during mixing. The monofilaments are integrated like a system of nerves into the concrete so they run throughout the structure.

Today these kinds of fibers are used more and more to reinforce and improve the overall properties of concrete materials and are found in a wide range of applications in construction industry. Compared with steel, previously used to reinforce concrete structures, the synthetic fibers are non-corrosive, lighter, much stronger, and immune to electromagnetic interference.
