WRAPPING-UP INTERBRUSH AND OPEN HOUSE: A DOUBLE SUCCESS FOR TECHNO PLASTIC
On April 16-18, the world leading trade fair Interbrush in Freiburg reflected once again the brooms & brushes industry’s strength and marked the fair’s leading position in the sector. Some 7,000 trade visitors from all corners of the world, an increase of 29% on latest Interbrush 2004, visited the trade fair complex, Messe Freiburg, to explore innovations in the fields of brush, paintbrush, paint roller and mop industry.

Techno Plastic’s stand held the interest and attention of a large audience, also attracted by their nearby partner Borghi. Techno Plastic’s stand was in fact connected with the larger Borghi’s stand that showed a great number of different machines for the production of brooms and brushes.

Among others, guests of Techno Plastic’s stand had the great opportunity to virtually observe a full functioning Fil 75 extrusion line, complete of automatic winder and wrapper. A webcam in fact was connected with TP’s factory in Italy and showed the Fil 75 in all phases of its standard operating functions. This feature allowed interested visitors and future clients to see the in-house complete extrusion and process without being physically in the Techno Plastic’s premises. The live show had a very good response with a significant deal of visitor interest.

Furthermore, Techno Plastic regularly kept featuring the DVD of their range of extrusion lines and in particular the new Tight Strap Universal, capable to transform cheap bottle flakes into high quality either monofilament or strapping line. TP’s representatives illustrated to interested people that this investment can be repaid in a very short time, when considering the extremely low cost and ready availability of the cleaned flakes of plastic bottles. The new TP’s Universal line is available in small, medium and high output versions going from 100 kg/h to 200 kg/h. To complete Techno Plastic’s list of products, a great importance was also given to the broad range of auxiliary machines such as winder, wrapper, cutting units and continue cutting devices.

After the Fair’s closure, Techno Plastic welcomed some 250 guests from over a dozen European countries to an Open House at its premises in Castelfranco Emilia to present, among others, the full functioning FIL 75 extrusion line already virtually observed at the Fair. The event held Sunday, April 20 was a huge success and several visitors continued to show up throughout the following days. All Techno Plastic staff was on hand to assist anyone interested in being informed on the machineries’ range and specs. Some Borghi’s representatives attended the event and helped with their know-how and experience to get visitors acquainted with the line.

Within a relaxed and entertaining framework, visitors received facts and figures on the development of Techno Plastic’s extrusion machines over the last years until the latest high-performance product complete with fully automatic system for winding and wrapping. The FIL 75 extrusion line gave guests the opportunity to look at and verify the complete cycle of production from the very first raw material to the completely finished, wrapped, cut and packed product ready to be shipped. This machine is the result of years of study, research and exploration of the best emerging technology and represents a milestone in the extrusion cycles’ automation development.
