TECHNO PLASTIC SUCCESSFUL AT PLAST 06
PLAST is one of the most important European events for the plastics and rubber industries. PLAST 06 took place from February 14-18, 2006 in the new fairgrounds of Fiera Milano, in Rho, Italy.

Techno Plastic has always recognized this as a major rendezvous, attended by the world’s key players in the plastic industry. Techno Plastic representatives were present at the show and participated with their own booth, giving the occasion to the interested audience to take a closer look at their profile as well as their products.

In addition to monofilament extrusion lines, Techno Plastic latest successful achievement is the production of strap extrusion lines. Techno Plastic is at present the manufacturer of new "Tight Strap" extrusion lines for the manufacturing of virgin and re-cycled PET and PP strapping bands, employing latest processing technology and providing great know-how and expertise. The series "Tight Strap" offers "turn-key" operations to anyone looking for the optimum combination of high-performance and flexible investment with a short time payback schedule. The range of strapping bands which can be produced by “Tight Strap" extrusion lines covers wide fields of applications and greatly exceed international quality standards.

The “Tight Strap” project is expected to produce 2-3 machines annually for the European, East European, Middle East and North African markets. The machines are expected to be sold at prices as much as 10% or 20% lower than equivalent throughput models made in the E.U.

As a result of the fair all Techno Plastic representatives reported having had fruitful discussions and meetings and having identified lots of potential new clients. Attending this major exhibition raised even more Techno Plastic's profile during a very intensive week of activities.

"Plast 06 more than met our expectations and we are already looking to return in 2009,” says Techno Plastic President Aldo Mingozzi. “The fair serves as an ideal venue to introduce our brand in our target markets.” A client satisfaction survey conducted by Techno Plastics Sales Manager indicates that, as a result of their participation at Plast 06 in Milan, a good number of projected sales is estimated over the next 12 months. "Our participation at Plast 06 resulted in business for us in several countries,” says After Sales Manager Davide Ori. “The growth of our production will be a direct result of our participation at this kind of important trade events".
